My father lived for several years with my Great Aunt Mary and Uncle Tom! He remembers rushing home on Fridays after work for Baked Spaghetti Friday! Here is how you make it!
Cook 1 bag of spaghetti or thinnest noodle you can find and drain.
While pasta is cooking, grate cheese (around 2 blocks – the more cheese the better.) Mix grated cheese with 3-4 cans of diced tomatoes.
Once pasta is drained, mix into cheese and tomatoes mixture.
Butter a 9×13 pan. Place cheese slices on bottom of pan to cover. Pour pasta, cheese, and tomatoes mixture on top. Cover top of mixture with more cheese slices. Place 1 lb. of bacon slices across top of casserole. Place in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until browning along edges. Enjoy!
